German for private customers: Intensive group courses

Our intensive group courses are aimed at people who require a sound knowledge of German for work, a programme at a German university or everyday life. Classes take place in homogeneous groups with a maximum of 8 participants.

From Monday to Friday (4 daily units 45 minutes each) motivated learners can acquire, expand and deepen their knowledge of the German language at different levels (A1 - C1, CEF) and at reasonable fees.

The manageable size of the groups allows everyone to actively practice their German in class and to test and prove themselves communicably in the target language. The offer of adequate speaking practice promotes a sound and sustainable learning success.

At the end of course, participants will have reached the language level (e.g. B1 CEF) aimed for in the course and will be well prepared for a language certificate of the respective course level (e.g. telc Deutsch B1 to meet language requirements for naturalization). The language tests for all levels can be taken at our school.
Before foreign applicants can start their programme at the University of Heidelberg they are required to complete and pass the German DSH examination to be granted permission to study at a German University.

After completed a C1 course participants are prepared to pass the stringent DSH examination. Examination candidates can additionally join our Preparatory courses for the DSH, if required.
